Motorcycle Mechanics Institute

The Motorcycle Mechanics Institute provides you with the knowledge and skills you need to become a successful entry-level motorcycle mechanic - in about a year. Motorcycle Mechanics Institute has two great locations in sunny Phoenix, Arizona and Orlando, Florida.

Start Your Career as a Motorcycle Technician

At the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute, you’ll create your own custom training program that meets your career goals by combining core motorcycle training courses with specialized manufacturer electives of your choice.

Motorcycle Mechanics Institute offers hands-on motorcycle training with up-to-date systems and vehicles. You’ll use the same kind of high-tech equipment and work on the same kind of late-model motorcycles you’d expect to encounter working as a technician in a dealership. From engines to suspensions, chassis, electrical systems and transmissions, you’ll learn it all.

You’ll also have the opportunity to customize your career with manufacturer-specific training for the industry’s biggest names. The specialized training provided by Motorcycle Mechanics Institute's manufacturer specific elective courses can significantly enhance your value in the career marketplace when it’s time to land that first job.

What does it take to be a Motorcycle Technician?

It's simple. There's the "mechanic" of yesterday and today's motorcycle "technician."

Yesterday’s motorcycle mechanic:

  • Learned on the job
  • Required very little technical knowledge
  • Strictly mechanical repair
  • Had little emphasis on professionalism
  • Was typically underpaid with little advancement opportunity
  • Easily replaced with high turnover rates

Today's motorcycle technician:

  • Professionally trained in a technical motorcycle mechanic school
  • High-tech skills, safety focused
  • Knows the ‘why’s’ and science of mechanics
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Great pay, advancement opportunities and lifestyle
  • Respected, ‘in demand’ and indispensable
